Junior Maddie Rooney will head to Lake Placid, New York next week to attend a USA Hockey evaluation camp for the top U18 women and the opportunity to compete against Team Canada in a three-game series August 22-25.

Rooney is one of three goalies looking to earn a spot on the final 22-player roster.  In all 30 ladies from around the country will attend the camp, including nine Minnesotans.  Also in camp is Hopkins High School goalie, Erin O'Neil.
