Apex Exposure Camp is scheduled for August 2-5 at St. Mary's University

Head Coach Steve Debus of the Hamline Pipers (Div III – MIAC) has committed to the Apex Exposure Camp and Jim Ingman, Head Coach of Concordia University (Div. III - NCHA) will also be joining the Apex Exposure camp staff.

"It is great to have both of these programs participating in the 2012 Apex Exposure Camp," said Ryan Egan, program director. "Both are very established and extremely well respected hockey programs and legitimate destinations for our athletes."

Debus, is wrapping up his second season as head coach at Hamline. The Pipers were 8-15-2 in MIAC play this season.  Prior to joining the Pipers, Debus was an assistant coach with the St Olaf Men’s hockey program.   Debus was a three-year starting goaltender with the Minnesota Golden Gophers (1995-1998), Debus sits in the top ten in several all-time lists at Minnesota. Among those, he ranks sixth in wins with 54, eighth in career saves with 2306, and is tied for third in shutouts with seven. DeBus was an All-WCHA first team honoree after the 1996-97 season in which he posted 953 saves, seventh-best in a single season for the Gophers.

Ingman will be coming to Winona, MN for the first time at the Apex Exposure Camp. He just finished his 5th season on the Cardinals coaching staff and helped the program to a 7-15-3 NCHA record.   Ingman is a 2001 UW-Stevens Point graduate, he spent five years as an assistant for the Bemidji State University women's hockey program.  Prior to working at Bemidji State, Ingman was an assistant for the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team, helping to build that program from the club level to national prominence over a four year period.

Debus and Ingman are the first two NCAA coaches announced for the 2012 Apex Showcase Camp. Continue to check your e-mail for future coaching announcements.
